Building a Private Label Program

In 2005, Red Door Spa Holdings saw an opportunity to create better profit margins in their spas. While they offered a large variety of third-party products for sale, they believed that packaging a product with a series of treatments would provide a unique solution that the market needed.

Red Door approached One Creative Group to help develop a marketing strategy, communications platform and innovative packaging for their private label product, esolutions. The goal was to position esolutions as a revolutionary product and treatment program that was unrivaled in the market.

We handled all aspects of package design, category development and product package sourcing, as well as many other aspects. We would eventually create an entire new brand that included 56 products. Only the name esolutions would remain.

We saw that the esolutions program closely mimicked the same type of supervision and guidance that a good personal training program would follow. Personal Training is a term that most people would recognize for both value and purpose. It stood to reason that we could extend this recognition and value to the esolutions product, hence our marketing strategy of the esolutions “Personal Training for Your Face.”

The result was a revolutionary skincare program: a dynamic system that fully supported every aspect of the esolutions product and the esolutions Personal Training For Your Face Program.
